AQA & Benetics: Stepping into the Digital Age

AQA, based in Aargau, Switzerland, is a young and dynamic company in the building technology sector. Led by Jusuf Jusufi, the company employs 15 staff members, including three apprentices. AQA operates in both project management and service work. Since early 2024, the company has been using the Benetics App to streamline its operations

The Challenge

“Our industry is changing,” says Jusuf Jusufi, Managing Director of AQA. “We don’t just want to stick to old methods—we want to adopt modern solutions.” On construction sites, work is often time-sensitive and requires seamless communication to keep projects running efficiently and within budget. AQA’s challenge was finding a way to digitize everyday tasks without complicating their workflow. Manually managing tasks and exchanging paper plans had often led to delays and unnecessary complications.

“Our employees, from apprentices to project managers, need quick and well-structured information,” explains Jusufi. Keeping track of multiple parallel projects made it difficult to maintain an overview at all times.

Implementing Benetics and the Results

After a short trial period, AQA decided to fully implement Benetics on two construction sites. The results were immediate. “It took about a month for the team to get accustomed to the app,” Jusufi recalls. “At first, I was still recording tasks both in my notebook and in the app. But today, I barely need the notebook anymore because the app makes the job so much easier.”

Communication between the office and the construction sites has greatly improved since introducing Benetics. “Before, we often had to search through endless WhatsApp messages to find the right information. Now, everything is centralized, and tasks are clearly assigned.” The outcome: significant time savings across many work processes, particularly in coordination between the project manager and the on-site foreman.

Benefits for Apprentices

Apprentices have also benefitted from the introduction of the Benetics App. “We want our apprentices to be actively involved from the very start,” says Jusufi. “With Benetics, they have access to plans at all times and can track task progress. This boosts their independence and helps them stay oriented.”

Results: Efficiency Gains through Digitalization

After several months of using Benetics, AQA has seen substantial improvements in its daily operations. “Task management is almost automatic now, and I have to intervene much less manually,” says Jusufi. “This saves time and ensures a clearer structure in our projects. The construction industry must evolve, and Benetics helps us stay one step ahead.”

The Top 3 Benefits of Benetics According to AQA:

  • Significant Time Savings: Up to 10% depending on the task.
  • Structured Processes: Clear task distribution and easy tracking.
  • Motivated Apprentices: They are engaged from the beginning and learn faster.
