When Michael Bender joined the company in early 2023, he found a familiar scene: handwritten task lists, scattered paperwork, and project management based more on quick chats than clear processes. "We used to fumble around in a clunky Austrian software," he recalls. "It was far too complex for our field staff."

The biggest issue: key project details were kept in the minds of individuals instead of being documented and shared. "It just can't happen that only one person holds all the project knowledge. That turns every job into a bottleneck." The result: confusion, lost time, and constant coordination struggles. Simply inefficient.

The solution: A voice assistant built for the site

The turnaround came by chance. Michael came across Benetics through a social media video from the HEROcon industry event. Today, the AI-powered construction app is a daily tool at Projektlicht—from planning to execution to billing.

The biggest time-saver: documentation. In the past, site managers had to visit every location to verify work was done right. Now, technicians upload photos and dictate their work on-site. "I can instantly see if the job was done properly, no matter where I am."

Communication across the team
It’s a new level of clarity on site: supervisors, techs and subcontractors all work from the same information. Whether it’s install logs, proof or punch list items—everything is clearly documented and traceable. Arguments over damage or unapproved extras are now a thing of the past.

Site surveys: Two hours instead of two days

Michael is particularly impressed by the time saved during site surveys. "If you don’t have a clean site survey, you’re flying blind. It’s the foundation of every project—and with the Benetics app, we’re now doing it way faster."

Take a Berlin office project as an example. On 3,000 square meters, Projektlicht documented every detail: photos of all rooms, notes on special conditions, exact locations of every connection point.

From scattered inputs to consistent records
Before, there was a mix of handwritten notes, photos and voice memos—all stored in different places. Now, everything gets documented while walking through the building: fast, complete and traceable.
